WAIT visits Yenzani Children's Home

The WAIT team would like to thank the Yenzani Children's Home for inviting us to the fund raising event they held in Midrand, Johannesburg on Satudary 19 September 2009. It was absolutely a day of exceptional fun, games, socialising and relaxation, we loved it.

This was WAIT SA's first public performance since our inception in June 2009. The performance impressed the audience in such a way that the event co-ordinator requested us to share with them about Who WAIT is and What it is that we do. Shin Ghomsi confidently got on the microphone and shared with the audience about WAIT beliefs concerning HIV/Aids and our activities. Also, we thank all the parents who took time out of their busy schedules to support the WAIT team in their first very important public performance.

Prior to WAIT's main performance at Yenzani, our young boys & girls put WAIT on the map when they won prizes in their age groups dance competitions, and they are Moagi and sister Kamo Mailula, Tumi, Yeonja Ghomsi and Morero Mphandle did us all proud ("Well done guys, you did the entire WAIT team proud, we are proud of you")
